The Midwest's New Lighting & Design Experience

Join us October 4-5, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago for LightSPEC Midwest 2022, an inaugural event showcasing design and innovation in lighting for the built environment. Carefully curated by top industry experts, LightSPEC Midwest is a networking, education, and solutions platform for specifiers and buyers of commercial and residential lighting and controls. With a program covering a wide range of topics vital to building designers, owners, and operators, the two-day conference and expo includes networking events, site tours; product showcases, and CEU accredited educational material in plenary and individual sessions as well as panel discussions.

Jonathan Moody, CEO, Moody Nolan 

Jonathan approaches architecture with a focused mission—to bring transformational design to underserved communities; to educate and mentor underserved youth toward careers in architecture; and to be a visible, present servant in underserved communities. Moody Nolan has gained national attention by promoting “diversity by design” and was selected as the recipient of the 2021 AIA National Architecture Firm Award, AIA’s highest honor. Moody Nolan is the first African American owned firm to receive the recognition. Moody Nolan has grown to over 230 employees and 11 offices across the U.S. The firm’s work has won more than 330 design citations, including 49 from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and 45 from the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
